Jesse Gomola is the first man to join the list of talented Agapé authors.
He is a writer and high school history teacher from Montreal, Canada. Gus and the War is Gomola's first book of historical fiction and is currently under production.
After noticing his students' lack of interest in history, Gomola realized that the best way to engage teenagers was not through textbooks, but through storytelling. Inspired by novels such as Johnny Tremain and The Grapes of Wrath, he combines coming-of-age plotlines with authentic historical detail, bringing key moments of the past to life in an accessible and relatable way.
Gomola firmly believes that ordinary people can make a big difference when they work hard and take chances.
